Песни на уроках английского в старших классах

В учебнике Л.Г.Денисова «Английский язык. Интенсивный курс «М.Просвещение»1999г. предлагается разучить с учениками некоторые из песен The beatles. Попробуйте! Как бы ни были хороши и любимы Вами эти песни ("Yellow submarin, When I'm sixty four"), первое, что вы услышите в ответ на свое предложение будет:

- Да кто их сейчас слушает!

Зачем бессмсленно преодолевать сопротивление?

И предложить из имеющихся в наличии. Я стараюсь прослушивать коллекцию старшей дочери и, отметая попсу и диджеевские однообразные поползновения, иногда нахожу что-то интересное. Например:
